Veggie Pita Bread Pizza is an easy and simplified option for making pizza at home using pita bread for crust and a no cook pizza sauce. You can now make you own veggie pizza faster than ordering a takeout. Plus plenty of options for customizing!!

Instructions
To make no cook pizza sauce
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients listed for pizza sauce – tomato sauce, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic paste, sugar. Mix well and keep aside. This can be made ahead of time and even frozen.
To make Veggie Pita Bread Pizza (Oven):
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit.
Take to pita bread spread 2 tablespoon pizza sauce on each pita bread followed by half cup of mozzarella cheese (or as much needed).
Add the toppings red onions, red and green bell peppers, mushrooms, corn and black olives, jalapeños and tomatoes.
Sprinkle some salt pepper, oregano and red chili flakes (optional). Transfer it to the lined baking sheet and to the oven and bake it for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
Remove from the oven and let it rest on the tray for another 5 mins. Slice it into 4 triangles and serve immediately.
To make Veggie Pita Bread Pizza (Air-fryer):
Follow exact steps as the oven method to get the pizza ready and then transfer to the air fryer and bake at 370° F for 5-7mins or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown. Slice it into 4 triangles and serve immediately.
Notes
Storage - Pita Pizza is best served fresh and warm. You can make this sauce ahead of time and store it airtight in the refrigerator for up 4-5 days or you can freeze it for longer use.Reheat - Leftovers can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until hot or air fry at 370°F for 2-3 mins or until hot.Substitution - You can use veggies of choice. Instead of the no-cook pizza sauce, you can use your favorite store-bought pizza sauce, marinara, or pesto.
