Notes

Use good quality 100% cranberry juice and skip the cocktail kind as they have added sugar.
I find the orange with pineapple juice blend gives the best tasting punch. If you can find this blend use a 1:1 ratio of pulp-free orange juice and pineapple juice
Use chilled juices and add ice just before serving to prevent the ice from diluting the drink and watering it down.
You can adjust the sweetness of the drink to your taste by adding simple syrup (or sweetener of choice) to your preference or skip it completely.
To make simple syrup at home add equal parts (1:1) of sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool completely and then store in a glass jar and seal tightly with a lid. Keep refrigerated for 2-3 weeks.
Add carbonated drinks like sprite and ginger ale just before serving to prevent the drink from losing its fizz and going flat. I like this drink even after the fizz goes.
You can use either Ginger ale or Sprite too based on your preference. Or substitute Sprite with 7Up, Moutain Dew, or any lemon-lime soda of choice.
Don't skip the garnishes, they add to the festive look!! Just be sure to remove the cranberries while serving to kids to prevent choking hazards.
For that extra special festive look, freeze fresh cranberries, orange slices, lemon slices, rosemary, and water in a bundt pan to make a wreath ice ring! When ready to serve, unmold the ring by running it under water and add to the punch bowl.
