Chana (Chickpea) Salad

Chana salad, or chickpea salad, is an easy, delicious, and healthy recipe made with boiled chickpeas (also known as garbanzo beans), and fresh vegetables, all tossed in an Indian spiced tangy dressing. This protein-packed salad makes the perfect side dish, or snack, or can be enjoyed as a meal too! Simple, satisfying, vegan, and gluten-free!

Ingredients

Soak chickpeas overnight. Cook the chickpeas with water and salt in the Instant Pot, pressure cooker, or on the stovetop until soft. Or use canned chickpeas

Step 1-4

Make the dressing my whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, and spices.

Step 5-8

In a mixing bowl, add the cooked chickpeas, and chopped veggies. – Drizzle over the dressing. Mix until everything is combined and coated with dressing.

Step 9-12

Chana Salad is ready to be served!

Refreshing, healthy and so delicious!

Enjoy it as a side with Indian curries or use as a dip or topping for tacos, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, bowls
