Notes
Use fresh or frozen fruit: Frozen strawberries or bananas make the smoothie thick and creamy without needing ice.Consistency: For a thicker smoothie, use more frozen fruit or extra yogurt. Use more milk for a thinner consistency. Blending: Add liquid first, then yogurt and fruit. Blend on low, then high, scraping the sides if needed.Sweetness tip: Ripe bananas and dates usually add enough sweetness. Taste before adding more.Optional add-ins: Chia seeds, ground flaxseed, hemp seeds, protein powder, or nut butter can be blended in.Make ahead: Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours; shake or stir before serving.Freezer packs: Portion strawberries, banana, and dates into freezer bags. When ready, blend with milk and yogurt.
