Gudi Padwa is a traditional Indian festival that is celebrated as a Maharashtrian new year and marks the beginning of spring. It is considered to be one of the most auspicious days as per the Hindu calendar and many start new ventures or buy something new on this day.
This important festival of Maharashtra is celebrated with special dishes including some sweet and savory recipes. The meals are often made without onion garlic and are yet super delicious.
