Instant Coconut Ladoo is an easy Indian dessert recipe made with just two ingredients desiccated coconut, and sweetened condensed milk (milkmaid), and ready in less than 20 minutes. These coconut fudge balls are the perfect treats for festivities and celebrations!!

I made these Coconut Ladoos on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi once when I was pressed for time. They turned out delicious so sharing this easy and yummy recipe with you all.

This Nariyal Ladoo

Coconut Ladoo is also known as Nariyal Ladoo or Nariyal ke Ladoo where Nariyal means coconut.
Mom usually makes coconut laddu with fresh coconut (at times with Rava too) and without condensed milk (or milkmaid). But this one is a super easy and instant coconut ladoo recipe.
To make these coconut ladoos, simply mix all these ingredients and roll them into a ball. Coat them with some desiccated coconut and garnish with dry fruits. and you have a super easy, quick yet extremely tasty Ladoos ready.
Step by Step Method
1 - In a pan add the coconut and roast for about 5 mins. Do not brown it.
2- Add the condensed milk and mix until all is well combined.
3 & 4- Stir in the cardamom powder and finely chopped cashews and keep mixing until it thickens and forms a ball/sticky dough.
Take it off the heat. Allow cooling a bit, enough for you to be able to hold and roll into a ball.
5 - Divide the mixture into 12-14 equal parts. Rub some ghee to your palms and take a small portion of the dough and make it into a smooth ball by rolling it between your palms.
6 - Roll all Ladoos in a similar manner and keep them on a plate.
7 & 8 - Next, roll these balls in the dedicated coconut and keep them aside. Garnish with some pistachios or raisins (pressed on top).
That's it, our super easy, delicious Instant Coconut Ladoo is ready.
Storage Instructions
This Coconut ladoo stays good for up to a week when refrigerated. Store them in an airtight container and keep refrigerated.
Recipe Notes & Tips
- Use good quality desiccated coconut. Fresh or frozen coconut can be used too.
- Roll the Ladoos while they are still warm.
- Nuts are optional but they add a good crunch and texture to this recipe.
- Food color can be added to make a fun variation.

- Aad the cardamom powder and finely chopped cashews and keep mixing until it thicken and forms a ball/sticky dough.
- Take it off the heat and allow to cool a bit, enough for you to be able to hold and roll into a ball .
- Divide the mixture into 12-14 equal parts.
- Rub some ghee to your palms and take one portion and make it into a smooth ball by rolling it between your palms.
- Roll all Ladoos in similar manner and keep them on a plate.
- Next, roll these balls in the dedicated coconut and keep aside. Garnish with some pistachios or raisins (pressed on top).
- Serve these warm/freshly made or cold. These stay good for up to a week when refrigerated and stored in an air-tight container.
