Step by Step Method

Steps showing roasting the coconut and adding the condensed milk to make dough

1 - In a pan add the coconut and roast for about 5 mins. Do not brown it.

2- Add the condensed milk and mix until all is well combined.

3 & 4- Stir in the cardamom powder and finely chopped cashews and keep mixing until it thickens and forms a ball/sticky dough.

Take it off the heat. Allow cooling a bit, enough for you to be able to hold and roll into a ball.

Process of making ladoo (balls) and rolling them into desiccated coconut

5 - Divide the mixture into 12-14 equal parts. Rub some ghee to your palms and take a small portion of the dough and make it into a smooth ball by rolling it between your palms.

6 - Roll all Ladoos in a similar manner and keep them on a plate.

7 & 8 - Next, roll these balls in the dedicated coconut and keep them aside. Garnish with some pistachios or raisins (pressed on top).

That's it, our super easy, delicious Instant Coconut Ladoo is ready.
