Orange Popsicle or Ice Pops are these refreshing Orange flavored Ice lolly that make the perfect juicy summer treat! Promise these are so much better than store bought!!

Orange Popsicle

Orange Popsicle was my favorite summer treat while growing up. I would any day prefer this icy water based orange flavored lolly or pop over the milk based ones. For those who are new to popsicles its basically flavored frozen ice over a stick. So if you are looking for refreshing and juicy Orange flavored Ice lolly/Pop recipe, try this one and sure you will be hooked.

This summer I was craving for these Orange lolly's and thought of making them at home.  I started with keeping it as natural as possible but the taste didn't ring a bell so finally decided to prioritize taste over health factor 😉 Well sometimes you need to give into your taste buds right!

Finally after a few tries, got the taste I was looking for. It is seriously refreshing and am not kidding when I say we finished 8 Popsicles in a day between the 3 of us. They are that good and addictive. Try it!

Orange Popsicle

Ingredients:

Orange juice - I've used freshly squeezed orange juice with mix of store bought to get that flavor balance.

Lemon juice - for that tangy and sour flavor.

Tang - This is an orange flavored powder drink mix. Its available in grocery stores like Walmart, target or even on Amazon. As a kid, I loved this drink and still do. We would get satchels back then and I would mix it in chilled water and enjoy.

Tang may not be the healthiest option but it provides that color and sweet and sour taste that you would get from store bought orange popsicles. If you can't find it or don't want to use it, skip it. Instead add more sugar, some salt and lemon juice to balance the flavors. Color and taste will differ but still delicious!

Sugar - This is optional and can be added or skipped depending on how sweet or sour the freshly squeezed orange juice is.

How to make Orange Popsicles

It's very easy to make these delicious popsicles. Just add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix everything together till well combined.

Pour in to Popsicle moulds of choice. Freeze for 6-8 hours. When ready to serve, remove from freezer and hold under running water for 10 seconds and the Popsicle should slide out easily.

Yes it would but will still taste good more like fresh fruit juice. Add lemon juice and sugar to taste along with it.
